How does Brighton International School interact with Students?

Brighton is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and strictly follows the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and the prevailing Education Policy by the government. But within all these parameters, Brighton has developed a unique curriculum which is known all over the city as one that not only brings rigour to academics but also shapes a student’s personality

Fundamentals of Brighton’s Academic Program is ‘A tinge of old with the amalgamation of new’, the school strives hard to materialize the dreams of the future citizens getting moulded in its assertion. We, at Brighton, nurture them in a manner where a child can grow step by step.

The pedagogical strategy at Brighton finds its roots in the concept of NEP or National Educational Policy, making the institution a stalwart in the field of academia. The vigorous policy at Brighton is the firm base that aids educational transformation leading to the formation of a vibrant knowledge hub for the students.

Literacy, numeracy and academic policy binds the threads of education with holistic development at Brighton. This leads the children towards self-reliance and independence. TAB

The Bulwark of the Brighton Way

What is Track At Brighton?

The idea behind TAB is to provide Holistic Personality Development to Brightonintes and maintain continuity in their feedback through their schooling at Brighton

TAB (Track at Brighton) Program TAB is basically a Personality Intelligence Questionnaire which teachers fill for each and every student. Teacher lists down Strengths, Weaknesses and set practical goals over the course of next quarter. The set of goals are appraised every quarter and worked upon for the next coming quarters of the year. Here the teacher also lists down anecdotes, details about performance and participation of the student in a month reporting format. The School Counsellor, Academic Head and the Principal vet the same from time to time. The TAB is transferred from one year’s class teacher to the other to which student is progressing to give the new teacher a ready-made analysis and information about his/her incoming students of the class TAB is a tool used by us to empower teachers with the following;

  1. Act as a counselor to the student becoming his/her confidante
  2. Create a defined path of progress for a student against set goals
  3. Make parents understand their child and create a measurable effort to impact matrix with respect to school’s efforts
  4. Maintain continuity – The information about each and every student becomes part of a process and helps build the continuity of information about a student among teachers.
