The admission entrance test for those seeking to enroll at Brighton International School for the upcoming academic year is held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, starting from November 1st until the end of the admission period.

What is BEST

The primary goal of conducting the BEST is to assess a student’s ability to adapt to Brighton’s rigorous academic program, which is designed to challenge every student.

Eligibility

For admission at Brighton International School, all aspirants looking for admissions for Class I and for higher grades take the BEST, which is administered using paper and pencil.

Procedure

To appear for the BEST (Brighton Entrance Scholastic Test), parents can either come to the campus for filling the registration form or they can opt to fill the form online.

Know about BEST

BEST is conducted every alternate Sunday at the campus of Brighton International School Raipur

  • To appear for BEST (Brighton Entrance Scholastic Test), parents can either come to the campus for filling the registration form or can opt to fill the form online.
  • The registration fee can be paid in cash at the campus or through the online mode
  • Every alternate Sunday beginning second Sunday of November, the BEST will be conducted in two slots; parents and candidates can book accordingly. Slot I - 11 AM - 12 PM or Slot II - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Parents can register their ward for the test even on the day of the test
  • The test window will close 30 minutes before the test's start time if someone hasn’t registered in advance.
  • All the students appearing for the BEST should come 30 minutes before the commencement of the test
  • Students who arrive after the start time will be moved to the second exam slot for that particular day or given the option to re-register and select a different day to take the BEST.
  • While their ward is taking the exam, all of the gathered parents will have an option of taking a guided tour of the campus.

Result & Confirmation of Admission

  1. The result of the test will be released by 16:00 hours on Monday the following week.
  2. A phone call, email, and other messaging methods will be used to directly notify parents whose wards have cleared BEST.
  3. In order to guarantee admission for their child, parents must pay the admission fee and deposit the caution money in accordance with the fee schedule no later than six days after results are announced.
  4. If the parent fails to deposit the requisite fee, admission will be granted only on the basis of the availability of the seats at that point in time.
  5. In order to finalize the admissions process, parents must visit Brighton International School’s campus to sign the admissions form and indicate their agreement to the school’s code of conduct, which applies to every student.

Is BEST also conducted for students looking to join Kindergarten

For kindergarten classes—Nursery, KG I, and KG II—BEST is conducted through a physical interaction with the aspiring students. For admission to Class XI, the Class X mark sheet is used for selection after the Class X board results are declared. However, before the board results are announced, aspiring students also have the option to take the BEST.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any fee for registering for the BEST?

All the students looking to appear for BEST will have to pay a nominal fee of Rs 1000 (valid for academic year 2025-26). Parents can either pay by applying online or through Cash or using other methods (cards, UPI etc) of payment provided by the school. 

Is school going to provide guided campus tour?

Campus tour are designed for prospective students and parents. You will get a chance see how Brighton International School works, infrastructure, facilities at the school. The tour will be conducted by Brighton’s admissions representative. Parents will get  to learn more about our pedagogy, curricular and extra curricular programs and they will get know the fee structure.

If a student's first attempt at the BEST is deemed "not recommended," may they retake it?

  • Students can sign up for a retest on the above dates if they took BEST but were not able to clear it.
  • The retest registration fee will be double that of the fee charged the first time around
  • A student can take a maximum of two attempts at BEST
  • The procedure to apply for the BEST for the second time around shall remain the same

Is there any parking nearby?

There is ample parking space inside the Brighton International School and outside of it. The school doesn’t provide any valet parking service.

What is the format of the BEST
