  1. How does the school help students improve their English speaking skills?
    We provide regular speaking opportunities through classroom discussions, presentations, role-plays, and group activities. Students are encouraged to use English both inside and outside the classroom in a supportive environment.
  2. My child is shy and doesn’t speak much English. How will the school support them?
    We understand that every child learns at their own pace. Our teachers use encouragement, visual aids, and pair/group activities to build confidence gradually.
  3. Are students allowed to speak in their mother tongue at school?
    No, the students are not allowed to speak in their mother tongue at school. We encourage the use of English during class and academic activities to build fluency.
  4. How do you ensure that students from non-English backgrounds are not left behind?
    We assess language levels and provide additional support, differentiated teaching strategies, and peer mentoring to help all students progress.
  5. What role can parents play in improving their child’s English at home?
    Parents can support by reading English books with their child, watching English shows or videos together, and encouraging them to speak in English during daily conversations—even simple ones. Consistency and encouragement make a big difference.
  6. Do teachers correct students’ spoken English mistakes?
    Yes, but in a gentle and constructive manner. Our aim is to build fluency and confidence first, followed by accuracy. Teachers correct errors without discouraging students from participating.
  7. Are there any English-speaking activities or events at school?
    Yes. We organize morning assembly, debates, storytelling, drama performances, and elocution competitions to give students fun and meaningful opportunities to use English.
  8. Will instructions always be in English?
    Yes, academic communication is in English. However, if necessary, key instructions may be supported with visuals or explanations in simpler language to ensure understanding.
  9. Can I communicate with the teachers in my native language?
    If you are more comfortable in your native language, we accommodate that wherever possible. However, we also encourage parents to communicate in English to model and reinforce the language for their children.
  10. How do you help students expand their vocabulary?
    We introduce new words in context during lessons and through reading activities. Students develop vocabulary and engage in games and tasks to reinforce new language.
