Are students allowed to bring mobile phones to school? No. Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones to school. If a student is found with a phone, it will be confiscated and only returned to the parent after the completion of the academic session.
What happens if a student is caught using a mobile phone during school hours? The phone will be confiscated immediately and disciplinary action may be taken depending on the circumstances. Repeated violations may lead to further consequences as per school policy.
Can students bring expensive stationery items or accessories? We advise against bringing expensive pens, markers, pencil cases, or any fancy stationery. Such items can be distracting, get lost or damaged, and are not necessary for daily schoolwork.
Why is the school against expensive or branded items? To promote simplicity, equality, and focus on learning, we encourage students to use standard, functional materials. Bringing expensive items can lead to comparisons, jealousy, or loss.
Is it okay for my child to wear gold or silver ornaments to school? No. Wearing gold, silver, or expensive ornaments is strictly discouraged for safety and security reasons. The school will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
Can my child wear a religious symbol or small item of sentimental value? We respect personal and religious sentiments. However, such items should be simple, safe to wear, and not distract the learning process. Please inform the class teacher if your child needs to wear one regularly.
What is the school’s responsibility if such items are lost or stolen? The school is not responsible for the loss of personal items such as ornaments, or expensive stationery. We advise labelling all belongings and avoiding the bringing of valuables to school.
Are smartwatches or Bluetooth devices allowed? No. Wearable tech such as smartwatches, fitness bands with connectivity, or Bluetooth devices are not allowed as they can be misused or disrupt learning.
How can parents help in reinforcing this policy? We request parents to check school bags regularly and ensure children leave unnecessary gadgets or valuables at home. Reinforcing school rules at home greatly helps maintain a safe and distraction-free environment.
Why are students not allowed to wear colourful dresses on their birthdays? To maintain uniformity, discipline, and equality among students, the school encourages everyone to wear the prescribed school uniform, even on birthdays. Allowing colourful dresses may create distractions or feelings of comparison among children
